Sacred Soma Women’s Retreat

Costa Rica

November 15 - 21, 2026

Join Us for a Restorative 7-Day Journey

Return to the land and inner landscape of your female body and soul.

Sacred Soma is a journey of remembrance.
A return to the sacred nature of the female body.

Set within the lush, untamed beauty of Costa Rica, this women’s retreat invites you to come back to what has always been yours—your body as home, as oracle, as living intelligence. Through a weaving of nervous-system-informed somatic practices, cutting-edge science, ancestral wisdom, and esoteric feminine ritual, we remember how to listen again.

This is a return to the land.
A return to safety.
A return to soul.

Here, the body is no longer something to fix, manage, or override—but something to trust. Together, we move through ritual and rites of passage that awaken the inner landscape of the feminine and reconnect us to our biological blueprint to create, receive, and live life L I T from within.

We soften the guard.
We loosen expectation.
We remember what it feels like to be fully alive—
authentically, embodied, whole..

Sacred Woman, the world needs your magic — and it starts with remembering who you are.

Nestled at the base of rainforested mountains along the Baru River in Dominical, Costa Rica, Danyasa is an adults-only eco-retreat center offering a safe, nourishing setting for women to gather, rest, and reconnect. With thoughtfully designed, up-cycled living spaces and a deep respect for the land, this sanctuary supports sisterhood, presence, and exploration—both in nature and within the inner landscape of the feminine.

See What Awaits You In Dominical…

Sacred Soma is a seven-day immersive rites-of-passage retreat for women, honoring the major thresholds of a woman’s life. Whether these transitions were celebrated, silenced, rushed, or never witnessed at all, the body remembers. And here, the body is invited to speak.

Each day unfolds in rhythm with the land—through somatic yoga therapy, embodied movement, breath journeys, ceremony, dance, and sacred circle. We explore lineage and belonging, pleasure and creativity, grief and liberation—not to analyze them, but to feel them. To metabolize them. To allow what was once held to move again.

Afternoons are spacious, for time to rest, ocean swims, optional excursions, Journaling and integration. The safety system is honored. Nothing rushed. Nothing forced.

This is not about becoming someone new.
It is about remembering who you were before the world taught you to brace, perform, or disappear.

If your body is saying yes, listen.

Your future self will thank you for this.

Take this opportunity to invest in Self and Source.

Create the Sacred Shift you have been craving.

Accommodations

November 15 - 21, 2026

Our home for Sacred Soma is Danyasa Yoga Retreat & Eco Lodge, a sanctuary for coming home to yourself and to nature.

Nestled along Costa Rica’s Southern Pacific Coast, just steps from the beach, Danyasa is surrounded by rainforest, waterfalls, warm ocean waves, and vibrant life. This eco-conscious retreat center offers a rare blend of beauty, simplicity, and soul—an environment that supports both deep rest and creative aliveness.

Imagine practicing in a world-class open-air yoga studio, sleeping in comfortable eco-chic container suites, wandering jungle paths, swimming beneath waterfalls, and feeling the land work on you as much as the practices themselves.

Danyasa is a consciously constructed container for connection, rejuvenation, and transformation. This space has been witness to countless soul journeys.

Nourish

All meals are thoughtfully included and designed to support your body, energy, and integration throughout the retreat.

Each day, you’ll enjoy three farm-to-table meals, prepared with care using ingredients sourced from local farms committed to organic, sustainable, and permaculture practices. This approach not only nourishes your body, but also honors the land, the local ecosystem, and the community that supports it.

Meals are vibrant, grounding, and intentionally simple, allowing your nervous system to relax and your digestion to feel supported as you move through the retreat.

Breakfast and lunch are primarily vegetarian, offering fresh, plant-forward options to begin and sustain your day. Dinner includes locally caught fish or free-range chicken, with the option to enjoy a fully vegetarian or vegan menu if that feels most aligned for you.

This is nourishment as part of the practice — a way of caring for yourself that feels connected, conscious, and deeply supportive.

Amalia Maria Lee

Amalia Maria Lee is a visionary holistic health practitioner, female BodyMind liberation advocate, medicinal movement expert and creator of The Root Method.

With 25 years of experience, Amalia intuitively integrates advanced training in numerous breath and movement therapies, alongside specialized pelvic health practices that encompass hormonal and pelvic floor vitality, with the understanding that womanhood is at the ROOT of the female nervous system. A certified circadian and cellular health coach, Amalia brings a deep nature-based pillar into her ‘sacred science’ methodology, guiding women to rebuild relationship with their BodyMind and align with natural rhythms.

Amalia’s work is in service to her vision of restoring masculine/feminine energy balance and re-centering family, community, and rites of passage at the heart of our human experience. Supporting humanity in remembering their ultimate reverence for the Great Mother and the female body as one and the same: the givers of all life.

Jacqueline Elsie Burbage

Jacqueline is a somatic guide, yoga therapist, and embodiment practitioner devoted to supporting healing through presence rather than performance.

With over 20 years of experience in yoga, somatic practices, and body-based healing, Jacqueline weaves together nervous system education, subtle embodiment, and contemplative inquiry to create spaces where healing is not forced, but allowed to unfold. Her approach is intentionally non-prescriptive, honoring each individual’s innate intelligence and capacity for self-regulation, integration, and wholeness.

Jacqueline’s work offers an alternative to effort-driven healing paradigms. She is devoted to supporting individuals in moving out of survival and into a lived experience of sovereignty, presence, and embodied choice.

Her vision is one of remembering — remembering the body as a sacred ally, awareness as a pathway home, and healing as a relational process that unfolds when we stop resisting what is and begin listening to what is already here.

I returned home with applicable tools of self care and self love. I also returned home with a tribe, a group of women we bonded over the experiences offered to us this week. If you are looking to unplug, grow, connect, and tap into your inner wisdom for healing, this is the week to experience it.”

“The Yoga Therapy Retreat in Ecuador is without a doubt, life changing. This was my first yoga retreat and I am grateful to have participated in this humbling and nurturing experience.  The healthy organic foods, the comfort of the villas and the beautiful excursions were incredible and luxurious but the daily yoga sessions with Jacqueline, triumphs all.”
